The Mary Wallopers, arguably one of Ireland’s current rising sensations, are releasing their second album “Irish Rock ‘n’ Roll” on the 6th of October and are performing a series of intimate gigs and playing at multiple festivals across the UK and Europe to celebrate this new chapter within their career! They will be coming to Fat Sam’s, the ideal location for music and talent within Dundee, on Thursday the 14th of December!
Who are The Mary Wallopers?
The Mary Wallopers are a Irish Band that are on the rise of success! Originating from Dundalk they are a folk group that are focused on breathing new life into both well known & rare ballads! Formed by brothers Charles and Andrew Hendy and their friend Sean McKenna – the band began traveling the length and breadth of Ireland, singing and collecting songs along their way. During lockdown, they were able to build up a huge online following via playing livestreams from their home studio. In the years since, the band have expanded to a seven piece and built a fierce reputation as a live act.
As Stated The Mary Wallopers consists of 7 members: Andrew Hendy – banjo; Charles Hendy – guitar; Sean McKenna – guitar; Seamas Hyland – accordion; Finian O’Connor – pipes/whistles; Roisin Barrett – bass; Ken Mooney – Drums

Ticket Information
General sale tickets go live on Friday the 21st of July at 9.30AM and can be bought here. Furthermore, there are presale tickets available to all those who have pre-ordered the bands second album and these tickets go on sale from 9.30AM on Wednesday the 19th of July via the same website!
This event is for 14+ only and 14s to 16s must be accompanied by an adult. In accordance to the ticket provider no refunds will be given for incorrectly booked tickets.
